Founded by Russ Scala, the Institute of Nutritional Medicine and Cardiovascular Research charts a new path in diagnosis and treatment. Our cellular level testing uncovers metabolic nutritional deficiencies, and genome patterns inhibiting individuals from absorbing the nutritional elements necessary for their systems to resonate and perform to their maximum potential.
Using data gathered from these cases, The Institute currently develops metabolic rehabilitation programs for members of Fortune 100 companies, professional athletes, as well as cardiac, diabetes, and brain injury patients. Actively developing formulations and protocols to combat obesity and help our returning soldiers cope with the ravages of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (P.T.S.D.), The Institute strives to meet the medical needs of our rapidly changing society.
Research is a cornerstone of The Institute as well, bringing 20 years of clinical testing experience for pharmaceutical companies like Lilly, Merck, and Spring Branch Pharmaceutical, to the development and testing of breakthrough nutritional formulations. Contact us about working with you to fill your clinical testing needs.
Our 17,000 square foot facility includes ultra-sound and nuclear imaging technology, a modern treatment center, and a physician training facility as part of our unique medical and wellness business development center. Our entrepreneurial model encourages patients and associates to find revenue opportunities as our partners. One such partnership can be found at www.naverahealth.com. Navera Health is a company helping physicians quickly and profitably integrate wellness protocols into their own practice.
Meet the Team
Russ Scala | Executive Director
Russ developed the E-JUVEN 8 program and put in place a team of highly qualified specialists to search for the root causes of illness and disease. Using the most cutting-edge genetic and nutritional testing in existence, this program is built on the crucial truth that every client’s body is biochemically unique and that all treatments should be custom-developed to meet the specialized needs of each individual. In the 1970’s, Russ Scala worked as a specialty-trained paramedic member of a SWAT team and also started his career as a competitive endurance athlete. He attended graduate school to do research in preventive medicine, with a concentration on how physical, mental and emotional stress can lead to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and adrenal exhaustion.
